Thank you for your interest in working with us at Pinball Wizard STL.

This intro letter will helps us all be on the same page with our clients about servicing your machine.

These are very unique, complex and different games with many proprietary parts by varied manufacturers with many aftermarket parts suppliers and some older games having no parts available at all.  That being said it takes time and research to get them serviced and this is almost always a multi visit scenario as we do not keep parts in stock. 

We will research and locate parts for your needs and instruct you on ordering them and having them shipped to you.  That way you have a record and receipt of what was ordered and we are fully transparent on pricing with no upcharge on our end. 

I come remove the board and deliver it to the tech.  He repairs the board and lets us know the price and you pay him directly (Paypal or Venmo) and I go get the repaired board and then we schedule a time for the board to be put back in your machine.  This is sometimes just the beginning of chasing the problem and usually the first step in getting a game back to peak performance.  After we get the brain working, then we can start working on the mechanics (switches, sensors, replacing rubber, broken wires, springs…)

Pricing for service calls is as follows:

All calls $80 an hour or fraction thereof with one hour minimum (We come to you)

We do not service circuit boards in house. 

I take these to a local tech that does amazing work.  This can range from $100-$500 depending on the complexity of the repair.  Battery corrosion can sometimes be irreparable and require complete circuit board replacement.  Each of these is on a case by case basis. But I feel it is always better to repair an original board if possible as the quality is far better than what you can purchase new today.

We live and work in the St. Louis metro area. Any calls outside of the local area will include additional travel time based on distance.
